Hmph, it isn't a squirrel imho. One of con's team members might be a materialist and argue against that. Although I don't necessarily understand the concept of squirrel except for misdefining the terms.

The spirit of the motion is clearly to establish a tautology. Con would win by default if that topic were ever debated because pro could never meet their burden. Shifting to a philosophical materialism debate when the relevant issue was in fact allowing women to wear headscarves, for example, could get a team disqualified in many tournaments.
