Blackflag: Abortion should not be allowed at all. Non-abortifacient contraceptives should be allowed, but I don't really see why the Government should pay for it. It isn't a human need, and people aren't entitled to sex.

Blackflag: Only as part of social security. It falls under the government's role of ensuring equal access to healthcare for all their citizens.

admin: Social Security in the US refers to something totally different than the context you are using it in, just so you know.
My question to you is how do contraceptives fall under healthcare? Are you also one of those ppl who believe gender changes should be paid for by the government?

Blackflag: Social security in the sense I'm using it refers to paying benefits those who cannot afford public goods that have a cost attached. A simple example would be the unemployment benefit.

The fall under healthcare because pregnancy and being a mom or dad affects your health. Choosing to have a baby is first and foremost a medical decision.

I feel like the expression of gender identity, though it is a very important health issue, can be adequately masked without funding medical practice. I totally respect transgenders and the difficult things they go through, but even like crossdressing and such are somewhat more watered down, yet affordable, alternatives that work for many genderqueers.

Please, accept my regards for transgenders and their struggle

I'm sorry, that's just grasping for straws. Next we know, being fat means you have a disease.

Blackflag: Being fat is also a public health issue that the government needs to solve. It isn't necessarily strictly speaking a disease, though it can be caused by one.

I find your attitude towards transgenders offensive.

You're the best comedian I didn't have to pay to see.

I find your attitude towards transgenders offensive.
Why? Are you a transgender? If not, then you can't get offended on their behalf.
People who change genders are dysfunctional. Usually when someone is mentally dysfunctional, we try to fix them, not support their lunacy.

I can get offended without being personally offended, and without doing it on their behalf.

People who change genders are dysfunctional.
Nope, it's perfectly normal and natural. Just like deviant sexuality, or people with different skin tones from your own.

No, you are just acting like a usual self entitled liberal. Stop lying, especially to yourself.

It is a mental dysfunction. People who have a dick and think they are a woman are mentally dysfunctional. People who don't understand that concept might just as well be mentally dysfunctional. Why do we have to ignore facts? To make ourselves look more hip and tolerant?

Blackflag: Your whole point is exactly like saying people who have a dick and don't like girls are mentally dysfunctional. It's a non-sequitur.

admin: Nope, because there isn't a correlation between having a dick and liking women. There is a correlation between having a dick and being a male. If that doesn't work for you, I can also refer to the XY chromosomes a guy has that women do not.

Society needs to stop accepting people who are clearly mentally ill. Well, I guess the only one they are hurting are themselves, so I wont fuss to much.

Better explanation. All men have dicks. No woman has a dick. Some men have dicks and think they are women. People who think they are something they're not are clueless, or in the case of sex, mentally dysfunctional.

Blackflag: No there's not. Being "male" is a socially constructed identity. Having a dick is a physical trait. If somebody doesn't identify as male for whatever reason, including but not limited to the lack of a dick - much like they might not identify with the identity of being any given sexuality - then that's actually not too unusual. Or to turn that logic around, if I cut off my dick, I would not be any less of a man.

Right, because you still have both an X and a Y chromosome. That makes you a male. Know what makes a woman? Two X chromosomes.

But gender identification isn't the real problem at work. It is how stuck up with labels these crazy ppl are. "I was always a woman"... No you weren't m8, you used to have a dick, but as admin was saying, the fact that you cut off your dick and split it open into a cosmetic vagina does not make you a female. Like admin said, you are still a male even without a dick.

I am the one who is doing transgenders a favor. I am accepting them for who they really are, not who they are pretending to be. The more annoying breed of liberals are doing transgenders a service by encouraging their "psycho" habits

Blackflag: Indeed. And some people are in fact born with two Y chromosomes, and they're born male too. But all that doesn't mean they have to identify as such, and if they identify differently.

Those people who say that - and I do know a good number - aren't crazy. They have genuinely always been convinced that their body isn't them, and that they should have been the opposite gender. It's incredibly mentally distressing to feel like you're not inside your own body. It's not a belief they chose to have - it's as natural to them as the feeling people like us have that we ARE a certain gender. They never were a male because they had those sexual organs. People like me and you are only males because we're satisfied enough with our bodies being such, not because of our sexual organs. Other people modify their own bodies all the time to conform to personal beliefs and values, from tattoos to circumcision to abortions to sex changes. It's all part of the same issue.

Sometimes when I read stuff like this I feel like you're trolling, but I'll let it pass on the grounds of ignorance.

Well that would be questionable. 99.9% of the cases for transgender lunacy are not questionable.

Because they ARE mentally ill

. It's incredibly mentally distressing to feel like you're not inside your own body
Which is why they need to talk to a doctor or a psychotherapist so they can get to feeling normal again.

They never were a male because they had those sexual organs. People like me and you are only males because we're satisfied enough with our bodies being such, not because of our sexual organs
To bad that isn't true. We are males because of our sexual organs, and other things. We were born into our gender. Ppl who cannot accept that cannot accept themselves, and they are beneath us. They are weak and they need help or they can never live in a strong society.

Other people modify their own bodies all the time to conform to personal beliefs and values, from tattoos to circumcision to abortions to sex changes. It's all part of the same issue.
Except when I got my dick circumcised it was because I wanted to appease God, not because I had some mental issues regarding my self confidence and body.

Sometimes when I read stuff like this I feel like you're trolling, but I'll let it pass on the grounds of ignorance.
Claiming that transgender lunies are under mental stress, and then going off at me after I say it is because they are mentally ill, is both hypocritical and ignorant.
