Me, NZlockie, and Admin appear to all be open to more random topics, but I understand how hard it is to form new one's, so I created a game to help out. The idea is to go to wikipedia, and click on the "Random Page" button at the left hand side bar. The challenge is to make a topic over whatever page you get. Even if it is terrible.
My first several were...

Costa Rica should put the economy before environmental protection
Costa Rica is often considered one of the greenest states in the world. It has an extremely high biodiversity rating, and over 25% of the country is protected. I follow Costa Rican newspapers, and all they talk about is saving the turtles and whatever. Costa Rica without a doubt is the most green conscious country in the world, which is why I would love to debate this topic, and possibly see it as a random topic by itself.

Topic:
Sport Leagues should be required to protect racial or sexual minority players from harassment
I watched 4 documentaries on this. Apparently in Europe there is a massive race probelm, and racist organizations often use soccer games as platforms. It also brings to mind the recent gay players who have come out in the US in the last few years, and all the abuse they succumbed. FIFA and the NFL have launched several programs to end racism and sexual preference discrimination, but many think the government should force protocol.

Topic:
Nagorno Karabahk Should be Reunited with Armenia
I've talked this topic to death, mostly in opposition to the proposal. Generally I waiver to both sides though. While the topic seems taboo to people outside of the Caucasus, the fate of this region is of high dispute between Pakistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Given the last of several border wars this year, I think this would be a wise candidate for a random topic. The fate of this region has been covered in detail, and the war over it adds spice.
Most importantly, are the scale of arguments which can be made for both sides of this debate.
