I'm going to make a suggestion and will be looking for what you guys say: no more than 1 new thread per half-hour, per user. I think it's sensible.
BTW, has anyone tried the live debate thing yet? Want to hear some feedback please!

Yeah, one new debate challenge every half hour would make sense too lol.

I hate the rule. I think there should be no limits to the amount of productive threads made. Spammers wouldn't follow the rule anyways, so why punish abiding users with them. It should be handled on a case by case basis. If someone makes three productive threads in a half hour, allow it, but if someone makes a routine of making a large amount of unproductive threads, then I would advise talking to that user.
I absolutely am against this proposal.

Maybe there could be different levels of membership? People who are in one level could have those limits, then another level could have looser / no limits. This may be in the too-hard-to-write basket, I would have no clue. But I like the idea, generally.
I'm not sure if I trust anyone who doesn't have their face as their profile.

I already know the answer to this.....

Nah. Too much potential for moderators to play favorites / allegations of bias.

Levels of membership sounds bad, but there is another like-wise system I've proposed in the past. Infraction Points.
The more infractions, the more your privileges are reduced.

The US dollar is worth more, and does it look like I have NZ currency to exchange?

Wow. Sounding a bit defensive there... Weird.
