This site has some amazing potential. But there's a few things that can be fixed.

1. I sign in and it says I'm signed in, but when I go to the homepage it acts like I'm not. I have to click the sign in button again, then it brings me to the member homepage. I don't have to enter my information the second time.

2. The debates under a users page are unorganized. There's not much of a separation between them.

3. The ability to edit debates in the challenge period. I'm not sure if we can do it already, but I can't find the option.

Someone may have already suggested these things. I haven't looked through the entire thread, so sorry if there's any repeats.

JV-Stalin: 1. Has anyone else ever had this? It sounds like a bug. I just logged out and back in again but it didn't happen to me.

2. So how would you like me to organize them? Currently it's just a list of links sorted by what's most recently updated. Should I make the lines of this list more spaced out or... ?

3. There's a problem I can see with this and 4-way or team debates. What if some others have already accepted but then the instigator changes the rules? It's much safer to just have it as "create a new debate, leave the old one for the others to take". I hope that makes sense.

admin: 1. Not that I'm aware of. It's happened to me on my phone and computer.

2. A simple line separating them would be good. Someone might have a more elaborate idea.

3. Perhaps you can only change the rules if the original instigator is the only one up for the debate.

Also, perhaps a section of the member homepage dedicated to listing friend's activity would be neat.

JV-Stalin: 1. Does it always happen to you, or only sometimes? I think I may be zeroing in on this but just need a bit more info. :)

2. I just added a little line separating debates on profiles. Is this good?

3. I'll look into it. ;)

4. What kind of activity would go on there? People often moan that the DDO one gets a bit clogged up so I'd be interested to hear feedback on this.

admin: 1. It didn't happen at first, but not it's happening every time.

2. Yes, a lot better.

3. Cool

4. Forum posts, debate comments, started debates and such. I didn't know other people didn't like it, but I do. It often leads me to topics of interest. Maybe you could have an option to have it on the homepage or not. Because what other reason is there for having a friend system?

JV-Stalin: 1. Where you browsing a page before logging in on the occasions where it happened, or did you go directly to the login page via typing the login address in your browser or something? If it was a page, what was it? I'm pretty confident that page will have an error somewhere.

4. Privacy mostly.

OK other people, throw in your thoughts! What would you like to see if there was a "friend activity feed" on the homepage?

admin: I go from the home page to the sign in page. I click on the sign in button that is on the picture of the two podiums.

admin: For team debates, there can be the more competitive teams (Legion, O.C. Conservatives, etc.), but I predict in the future that I might want to just do some team debates with my friends. Could a possible option be to allow individual user team debates, like I could specify who is doing the debate with me and then go from there?

Nerd Politico: Maybe but it's complicated. They'd all need to accept, it couldn't be rated, and you'd have to specify each opponent individually. Currently the system only supports up to 4 named opponents (individuals or teams). So there's a lot that would need to be changed to make this happen.

Nerd Politico: A much easier way to do this *might* be to just allow people to be in multiple teams at once. Then you could just create a quick temporary team for that one debate. Thoughts?

admin: We should have the report post button on the top right hand side, so we don't click it on accident.

I have the same problem as Magic8000 with logging in. It takes four or five tries.

Amazing site though. :)
Please excuse me as I'm not super creative when it comes to forum signatures.

admin: I am a part of a debate group on facebook, and a few in real life, and when the arguments go on for too long, I think it'd be nice to be able to just link them to a freshly made debate, just waiting for both of them to accept it.
