If a good guy beats a bad guy that makes him good.
if a bad guy beats a good guy that makes him bad.
if a good guy beats a good guy that makes him bad.
if a bad guy beats a bad guy does that make him a good guy ?

Yeah, the whole 'good' vs 'evil' thing is relatively simplistic. There are actually few examples of pure raw evil, and it is almost always stemmed from hate and disdain for others.
In the same light, most of the 'good' guys are actually self absorbed.
