Just a thread for me to put links to other cool things other people are doing across the web.

Here's one: http://www.randomiseme.org/ . Allows anybody to conduct and take part in surprisingly cool scientific experiments.

This one's cool: https://www.lucidchart.com/

Kinda like Microsoft Visio but more sensible and cloud-based.

Oh, and there's a free option (yay!)

I'm one of those people that needs to have music on to really concentrate. The specific mix is quite important because if I get it wrong the songs end up being a distraction.

Several years ago I was introduced to this website which I found pretty cool. You can type in any adjective and it'll find you a mix that suits that word. It's pretty good at it too.
There are some rules as well. You can only ever skip two songs in a given mix, you can't ever repeat a song and you're only supposed to have two songs by the same artist in a mix.
People get around that last one by changing the name of the artist though.

A couple years back, when I started doing a lot of high-concentration work at home, I made my own mix of songs specifically chosen to not raise the heart rate too much, but help me zone out and concentrate on my work.

Have a look, you can make your own mixes too!
