I don't know how if anything can be changed now considering that lower ranking private school replaced her school. The disqualification of her schools seems very petty. Then again, we are hearing only her side of the story. I believe there is more to this that isn't being said.

As much as I agree there is another side to this story, I doubt her team has anything to do with it. I've been attacked on technicalities before too, and it's not a fun place to be.

I presume things would be different in different debating circuits. In New Zealand the answer would generally be no, but action can be taken against people who make obviously wrong decisions. Sometimes they would lose their position entirely.

That is really sad. If my partner and I were disqualified from nationals due to technical errors I would be utterly devastated.
