Paste from Word

It's been reported to me that the editor screws up formatting when pasting from MS Word. There's a good reason for this: MS Word isn't designed to format for the web, but rather to format for documents. As a result, pasting from word generates all kinds of useless style information that then screws up the look of the document. In addition, some things that are possible in Word (like embedding an image into the document) are simply not possible on the web (on the web, an image must be linked, not embedded).

I have made some adjustments to the editor to strip out most of this useless style information, so pasting from MS Word should be a lot better now. In particular it shouldn't generate a ton of random new lines.

But please - if you can, avoid using it. I've erred on the side of caution, so some of your nice Word formatting may still be lost. I spent ages making sure the current editor was extra-stable for a reason. :)

admin: A possible solution could be just uploading the document and having it be shown in a viewer.

Nerd Politico: Not really. The best online "viewer" of Word files I know of is called Google Docs and it's... not very accurate.

The only reason I copy from word is because I can't save my argument when directly typing it into the arguments box.

If you made some way where we could save it to come back to later and continue typing, that would be awesome.

xXCryptoXx: Yip, I can do that :)

Working at it, will probably finish private groups first and then add this.
