Site Reliability

OK, some people have been experiencing random weird crashes esp. upon login. I think that might be relevant to this:



That's my server's usage for the past 24 hours. Entry processes reaching their limit is actually pretty concerning, that means the server has just had too much to do at once so didn't bother to do other things. It looks like I'm going to have to fork out some money to upgrade the server sometime soon (and I'm already saying this when the site is less than one day old!). Until then, I'm really sorry for any interruptions, but refreshing the page is almost guaranteed to resolve them.

admin: How powerful does it need to be? My Company has a giant bin full of discarded computers that they donate to the IT College. I might be able to pull some parts if you're planning to do a barebone project.

admin: Never mind...you're in New Zealand. By the time the cost for shipping is covered, you could have bought a 350 dollar HP server. Lol..

admin: I think I've just proven that this site seriously needs an infrastructure boost.
