On other sites, there is the option to edit your forum post after you already posted it. I think this site should have it too. Like, if you make a mistake, or say something you may regret saying, you can correct it and keep it in the same post.

Bi0Hazard: The problem with this is tracking a history for each post for moderation purposes.

admin: How do other sites handle this? Do they just not have access to the earlier post?
I thought even after you edit a post, moderators still have access to what was previously posted.

Bi0Hazard: Depends on the software. I'm wary of the space required to implement an edit history, and it's kinda of limited value since it's just as quick to post a correction usually.

Of course there's the feature tracker if you want to suggest it :)

admin: Log first.

If you cannot have an edit history, it doesn't matter. 5-15 minute edit time.

If someone regrets something and edits it in 5 minutes, I don't see what the problem is.

I feel any forum without post edit is living in the stone age.

Crow: Because I can't afford to have porn on here for 5 minutes. I can't be on here every 5 minutes either.

Even coming on every day is tough sometimes.

admin: Your worried someone may use it to post inappropriate content that would break the terms of use and edit the post to not get caught?

admin: I know your more of an expert on moderation, but I thought that moderators would still have access to the post before even after it is edited. Does this turn out to be false?
Explain to me the feature tracker.

Bi0Hazard: The edeb8 forum is very simple. Even things like categories are very much hacked together because of how simple it is. Since I wrote it I didn't put in the code for either editing or viewing a history. Such would be more code than you'd think because it would make the forum somewhat less simple.

On the footer of every page there is a link for features+bugs. Here you can vote on suggestions from the community. At the bottom you can add your own suggestions.
