Thoughts on edeb8 so far

I am relatively new to edeb8 and beginning to migrate from DDO. For once, it is very nice to have a debate site that is not full of bugs and glitches. If DDO keeps going down hill as it is, then it is very probable that I will move to edeb8 permanently.

At first the navigation is a bit tricky, but once you get used to it it's quite easy.

The only thing I do not like about EDEB8 is the overall interface. I think the design should be more modern and the design feels a bit outdated.

I hope we can get more active users and more content. If we do, edeb8 will become a serious competitor to ddo.

I wouldn't say it is outdated, but I do think for the most part the site has always looked quite ugly and clunky.

The whole design needs to be kept clean and simplified.

No offense, but I fully expect you to fade away after a week or two.

This site has had much larger activity waves than this.

Kohai: As I said on the feature request thing, this design is my personal attempt and I welcome better designers to offer me something, but as it stands this suggestion is currently non-constructive. Don't mean that in a negative way but I've lost time and money trying to find somebody who can come up with a good design for the site without changing what the site is about.
