Crusade for Democracy

With the rise of extremism throughout the world, especially in the United States, the West is realizing that it can't take democracy for granted. 

Definition of democracy: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections (Merriam-Webster)

If you plan on having a group debate that relates to free speech, freedom of religion, authoritarianism, etc., this is the place to find allies. Conversations are also welcome. 

The intention of this group is to promote democracy (obviously), and dispute any system that opposes egalitarianism and supports religious/political extremism.
