It is social liberalism, they want a change in values. They want same-sex marriage, marijuana and drug legalization, think transgenders are normal, etc.
Different views on the issues. They want change. They are not satisfied with the original American values.
As a result, society changes, divorce rates in the U.S. have gone up, Marijuana use goes up, more things are getting accepted as okay that were not accepted in the past.
Then society adjusts to it and these things become normal. A change in morality.
It all depends on what values you want your nation to hold.
