Blackflag: Those games don't use real shotguns or real cities though. They use computer simulations. I mean, just somebody doing that in real life and calling it a game.

admin: No one wants to live in hell, but if heaven were a place full of roses and dandelions for eternity, I might get bored of that too.
I feel like our problems and emotions are so melodramatic and unintresting in the first world. If other people want to be contained to a safe and content existence, then I'll support any law which allows them to do so, but I am not going to remove every single personal choice which has the opportunity to make life a little more exciting, even at the cost of people's ultra cushioned lifestyles.

One thing that holds true is that a man in Somalia is much more aware and enlightened of what the important things are in life. People in the third world are often fighting with the very meagre ambition that they may live a moderately prosperous life. People over here are fighting over silly things like "who has custody of Timmy on Friday" and "OMG, Jimmy broke up with Heather!"

Blackflag: Oh no. Those problems still exist in Somalia, the people there just have bigger fish to fry.

admin: I guess that is kind of my point. I am sure rural peasants are more concerned about maximizing their harvest than whether Heather is a bitch or not.
