That's extremely inappropriate and super rude.
Please excuse me as I'm not super creative when it comes to forum signatures.

Thanks!
I'm not sure if I trust anyone who doesn't have their face as their profile.

Not the religion but a few people do have their own extremist version of Islam.

Bolshevik-:
Bill Maher made the argument that the religion is what is projected by the majority. He believes that while the majority might not be extremist in the violent sense, they still hold the beliefs of groups like the Taliban and Al-Nusra.
Blackflag:
Well at least they don't act like the extremist groups. Or they don't in the most cases.

Bolshevik-:
Yet they project extremist ideas. They just do it using a ballot and not a gun.
(Devils advocate btw)
Blackflag:
Ok I got your meaning.

The elitist opinion of westerners spills over to rabid prejudice and bigotry as espoused by Ben Affleck ans Bill Maher.
The Muslims in the Middle East are not extremists. Muslims in the West are extremists. They are not representative of mainstream Islam at all. They do not live under Sharia law nor adhere to Sharia law in many cases. It is Muslims in the Middle East who are representative of mainstream Islam. They are not extremist because that is what Islam has always taught. It is these western educated Muslims who are extremists who seek to filter western values into Islam.
There are countries with Muslim majorities outside the Middle East but they are not Islamist states like Indonesia and Malaysia who are secular. Iran is an Islamic state.
Darth Vitiosus:
Muslims in the west are democratic, and adapted to associated principals. But yes, if you want true Islam, then Iran and Saudi Arabia is what you're looking for.
Right or wrong, Muslims in the West believe in things incredibly different than those living in the Middle East. So I guess under that interpretation Muslims living here would be considered extreme.
When I call them extremists, I'm referring to standards not including religion though. Either way, I get your point.
