So today there's been a security update - I have some features I want to roll out too but I wanted to talk about this first. You already know that now there's a second mod in the house by the name of Kohai. Here's what you might not know:
>
Passwords are now hashed on the database, so they'd be more secure if somebody managed to steal that
>
For similar reasons, password reminders are now changed to password resets
>
Your settings page no longer displays your current password behind those asterisks
>
Some minor clean-ups and stuff around new user registration and login
>
Users with accounts that would be flagged as multis are now warned PRIOR to using social login
Let me know if there are any problems.
Thumbs up from:
I'm the main developer for the site. If you have any problems, ideas, questions or concerns please send me a message.
Let's revive the forums!
