The book "Double Down" by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann hit Amazon's audiobook store last week. For me (a guy who's stuck in Atlanta traffic for 1 1/2 hours, twice a day) this was an amazing buy.

The book systematically tells the story of every 2012 Candidate's experience from the primaries, all the way through to the general election. The things that people say behind closed doors (expecting them to stay there) is phenomenal.
From Obama's cabinet member storming out of the room yelling:" F*ck Michele!" to the President himself revealing that he barely likes Bill Clinton (and only in small doses)....it's eye opening.

So, the point to all this:
Who has read the book? Who thinks Bill Clinton's recent opposition to Obama on the issue of ACA is a retaliation for the embarrassing, deep-cutting remarks Obama made about both Bill and Hillary?

After reading this book (and I'm only half way through, since it's almost 17 hours of audio)I see Washington in a whole new light and it's starting to make the kind of sense that gives you the "Ohhhhhh...now I get it" feeling.
