That Gay Marriage should be legal

Gay marriage should not be legal. Gay marriage should be illegal for many reasons.
One
Marriage, and sexual intercourse for that matter, is and always will be meant to reproduce life. Reproduction of life is only possible with the elements of male and female of the same species; Dogs, cats, humans, monkeys, etc. Gay marriage and gay sex does not allow for this. It shouldn't be illegal, per se, but it should be looked down on and frowned upon. TFP student action published an article on February fifth, 2015.

"Calling something marriage does not make it marriage. Marriage has always been a covenant between a man and a woman which is by its nature ordered toward the procreation and education of children and the unity and wellbeing of the spouses."

Two
The Bible claims it an abomination.

Leviticus 18:22 "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."

Leviticus 20:13 "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."

Three
There is no purpose to gay marriage. There are no benefits, there is nothing to help you in your everyday life that real marriage can't already provide. If anything, traditional marriage offers more to you than gay marriage does.

It is everybody's RIGHT to choose their own partner no matter if they are heterosexual or homosexual. Gay Marriage has been LEGAL in Australia for many years without any ill affect. In fact, the subject of Gay Marriage Rights were put to the vote by a right-wing-extremist government in Australia and, thank goodness, egalitarian and tolerant Australians voted YES overwhelmingly. Those people who use intolerant, outmoded religious hypocrisy as a means to shut down love between two consenting adults are misguided. Love is love and just because some homophobic statement is made in a text within a document (the Bible) written thousands of years ago does NOT give others the right to pass sanctimonious judgement on others!

I believe that the Bible says that God created man and woman. He created woman for the man so that he would not be alone. I believe that having gay marriage is basically saying that God made a mistake. It is like saying that He created you to be with the wrong person.

By the rules, if you forfeit a round, that does not mean that you forfeit the debate. I have seen people forfeit a round, and come out strong in the next, and actually won. If he does not post, and continues to forfeit then yes you will win the debate.

I don't believe that we should have a specific law just to "legalize" gay marriage. Marriage is marriage.
